A perfect combination of all components that make high quality wines - excellent soil, ideal weather, long tradition of wine making, advanced technologies, relatively low production costs per quality and -modern techniques, which enable to create a Kosher and Mevushal (Ultra Kosher) wines, without hurting whatsoever the tastes, the colors and the body of the wines.
The grapes are mainly from Shalom Epstein's Boutique Estate. They are from a low yielding, highest quality vineyards. This combined with skilled wine making makes probably for one of the top Kosher boutique wines available.
Under the strict supervision, along with the wisdom and the impressive experience in winemaking, of Rabbi Desmond Maizles, Head of the Kashrut Department at the Cape Town Beth Din (Jewish High Court), premium wines have been made since January 2003 harvest.
The Orthodox Union of America, have recognized the value of the wines and there importance to the Kosher food markets, and added its approval, so the wines are proudly carry the OU logo as well.
