Asara focuses on the extra-ordinary, the quest for perfection and a complete delight in sheer indulgence. Our production is approximately 65% red and 35% white wines, led by our flagship Bell Tower Collection. Our entire wine range offers exuberant structure and taste.
Restaurant
Raphael’s offers visitors a truly unique dining experience, our food is unpretentious, flavour driven, locally sourced and sustainable, always representing the season. The décor offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a log fire in the winter months.
Also check out the Sansibar Africa’s Cigar and Whisky Lounge, which offers single-malt whiskies, fine imported cognacs and hand-rolled cigar as well as refreshing cocktails and light meals on the terrace.
Induldge at Asara Deli. Savour a macaroon and some of our finest handcrafted chocolates, or treat yourself with a steaming cappuccino in cooler weather. The Deli is also home to freshly baked breads, cakes, pastries, biscuits, jams and even potted herbs. We are open daily (8:00 - 18:00), so pop in with a friend or simply come and enjoy our Free WiFi.
Weddings
Our function hall can accommodate up to 160 people with a dance floor (if you feel like dancing the night away), and 180 without. There is also a large area outside the hall in which we can arrange a marquee tent that will be able to seat up to 500 guests. If you are looking for a smaller, more intimate affair feel free to utilise one of our smaller restaurant venues - Raphael's, The Wine Bar, or even the Sansibar Lounge with its veranda overlooking the stunning mountains and vineyards. Functions and Conferences
Our Ballroom is ideal for large conferences, product launches or presentations for up to 200 delegates.
For smaller groups, the Courtyard Room holds up to 80 guests or Amber Terrace holds 24 guests and is situated adjacent to Raphael's in various formats, last but not least is Belvedere holding between 8 and 30 guests, all these venues offer spectacular views over the surrounding mountains and vineyards.
We provide you with the following audiovisual equipment: Flipchart, whiteboards, VCR & DVD Player, Projection screen, PA System (in Ballroom), Stage ( if required), Data Projector, Roving or Cordless Microphone, Lapel Microphones can be ordered on request.
