The restored and stately Manor House is set amid magnificently landscaped gardens. The house is one of the oldest and most important, architecturally speaking, in the Paarl region.
Laborie produces some of the best Méthode Cap Classique sparkling wines, an array of award-winning wines, an estate brandy and a unique fortified Pinotage dessert wine.
Restaurant
This family friendly restaurant which seats a total of 80 guests inside and a further 100 on the beautiful terrace which overlooks the immaculate vineyards of the wine farm, also caters for weddings, corporate functions and special occasions.
Boasting modern contemporary décor, the Private Dining Room will host smaller, intimate groups. Patrons will be able to relax and socialise whilst enjoying a glass or two of the superb Laborie wines in The Wine Lounge.
Serving lunch seven days a week and breakfast on Saturday mornings, the restaurant will be open for dinner on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Weddings
The Laborie Wine Farm is the perfect romantic setting for an unforgettable wedding.
The garden or Historical Cellar can be converted into a small chapel for the ceremony, and our guest rooms offer accommodation for the bride and groom, and wedding guests.
The reception can be arranged at the restaurant, and beautiful photographs taken in the garden or vineyard to capture those precious memories of your big day!
Conferences
Laborie offers state of the art conferencing facilities in a wine farm setting, with the charm and ambience of a bygone age.
The main conference room is the Historical Wine Cellar with other break away rooms available. The Historical Wine Cellar is one of the oldest cellars still in existence where the first wines were made in 1698. This intimate venue is ideally suited for conferences with up to 20 delegates, though individual arrangements can be discussed.
The venue comes fully equipped with all conferencing amenities and requirements. Meals can be arranged in the private dining room at the Manor House or the Laborie Restaurant.
