Established in 1698, Altydgedacht Estate is a family farm where long standing traditions and modern methods blend to create wines of quality and character. Altydgedacht is one of the historic farms established on the fertile slopes of the Tygerberg and has been in the Parker family since 1852.

The name Asara is derived from the names of the African gods of Earth, Sun and Sky - Astar, Asis and Asase - expressing the harmony in nature's elements which is reflected in our range of wines.

In our never-ending pursuit of excellence, we place great emphasis on the quality and service of our food & wines. Many have judged the result and bestowed every kind of accolade upon the Aubergine. Despite the recognition, Harald Bresselschmidt, Chef and owner, never rests on his laurels. New and ever more exciting dishes are continually being created.

Savour the finest indigenous and international cuisine on offer in our extremely popular Azure Restaurant. Roberto de Carvalho, our Head Chef, is on hand to create a variety of exquisite dishes including meat, seafood and vegetarian options.

At Bistro ALLÉE BLEUE we pride ourselves with exceptional service and classic contemporary cuisine using local seasonal products served in a quaint environment with charm. Most of the ingredients on the menu are sourced from the estate's fertile gardens or from the local winelands area. The chefs at ALLÉE BLEUE are continuously creating new innovative Bistro cuisine.

Café Juno is a delightful breakfast and lunch bistro at 191 Main Road, Paarl. The Café offers uncomplicated, delicious dishes, wines at cellar price, great service and a truly wonderful ambience. The only place in Paarl to go for the finest freshly baked baguettes, ciabattas and rye loaves. The deli section will also tempt you with a list of absolutely delectable items to take home.

 

Enjoy superb facilities at Clos Malverne including the tasting room. Recent improvements to the house include a private suite for visiting agents and guests, and a large entertainment area overlooking the pool for functions and large tastings.

Cosecha, Spanish for "harvest," reflects our location next to the harvest area where grapes are sorted and crushed at Noble Hill Wine Estate in Paarl. It also expresses our desire to bring the farm-fresh, latin flavors of our family's southwestern roots to Cape Town. Ingredients are grown on the farm where possible, and we currently maintain a thriving pepper and vegetable garden which you are free to explore during your visit.

 

We welcome visitors throughout the year to come and taste our wines in our famous "Downstairs" cellar. It is one of the few farms where you can sit and relax, while enjoying a wide selection of wines. For those who like their wines aged, we have the "Collectors Corner" where you can browse at your own leisure, or admire our spider web covered windows which has become a legend of its own.

The view from Dieu Donne is well-known among those who wish to identify the famous landmarks of Franschhoek, watch the sun setting over the Simonsberg Mountains, or just love enjoying a glass of wine during a picnic at this scenic spot.

It's classic in a contemporary way. It's a restaurant but it's also bars. It's got a lot of heritage but it's very now. And it's well worth a visit. Situated in the heart of the Cape's legal and financial district is Five Flies restaurant. The 200-seater restaurant is made up of exclusive private dining rooms, a bar opening out onto a vibrant courtyard, and a sophisticated cigar lounge. Gino’s is a perfect choice for a relaxed but quality dining experience in central Stellenbosch. Specializing mostly in Italian style cuisine they have been providing the same excellent service, great dishes and excellent value for money for which they became renowned since they first opened their doors in Stellenbosch back in 1996.

Their menu is comprehensive and while it remains mostly Italian style the kitchens repertoire is certainly not limited to only that. A wide variety of well portioned dishes ranging from the traditional pizzas and pastas, salads and soups to calzones, rumps, fillets and lots more. . The Holden Manz wine estate is located at the top of the Franschhoek valley dominated by the spectacular mountains which stand guard over the beauty below.

Situated between the Franschhoek and Stony Brook rivers, this 22 hectare wine estate benefits from wonderfully fertile and dark loam soils and a state of the art wine making cellar under the supervision of winemaker Mark Carmichael-Green.
