The Stolichnaya Premium Vodka brand has added Stoli Salted Karamel to their range, claiming to be the world’s first salted caramel flavoured vodka. An interesting combination that might appeal to the masses but still makes some instantly gag. However, according to Lisa Pfenning, Category Director–Stolichnaya®, William Grant & Sons, " Next to chocolate, market research has shown that caramel is the most popular indulgent flavor offering and that savory flavor combinations are currently one of the fastest growing trends." Dad Offers Beer In Exchange For Sons Employment

Fifty cartons in exchange for electrical apprenticeship for my 19-year-old son. Local, hardworking, reliable, desperate, not a quitter.” A rather interesting idea for any other parents who want to get those last fledgelings out of the nest: remove booze from kid - offer it to employers... Talking Urinal Cakes Curb Drunk Driving

Talking urinal-deodoriser cakes have been distributed in an effort to stop drunk driving in Michigan. The motion activated urinal cake has an "attention getting" woman's voice and plays a recorded message that reminds men who step up to the urinals to call a taxi or a friend, if needed, to arrive home safely. A head-turning idea indeed. [ Huffington Post ]

Another Guiness World Record

So there's pretty much a world record for everything and anything, but this one is quite interesting. The world record "for the largest number of ninja-costumed synchronised flairtenders on stage at one time" was broken at the opening of the Taiwanese Golden Cup cocktail competition. The event was officially opened in style (and flair : ) with 101 bartenders flairing in tune to music, in a mix of ninja and Spider-Man costumes. [ Spirits Business ]
