Post 2010 World Cup it seems that the rest of the worlds perception of South Africa has been somewhat boosted and that's great news for the South African Tourism Industry.
Visitor confidence has been increased and South Africa should begin to experience an increase in foreign arrivals to the country thanks to the this boost. Tourism businesses and regions country wide will no doubt benefit from these new international visitors and most people will be happy to share this beautiful country with them.
One of the biggest questions many of these new arrivals are going to be asking themselves before they arrive is, "Which are the best things to see and do while in South Africa?" No problem.. we've got you covered.
Africa.com has done a great list on South Africa's Top 10 Places to Visit and the South African Winelands have snatched up slot no.5.
(Only number 5?? you ask, Just kidding.. I'm thankful that the winelands even feature in top ten, thanks Africa.com!)
This is excellent news not only for the South African Wine, Tourism and Hospitality Industries but also for all the wineries and wine farms, businesses, attractions and people living in these areas.
I think most people living in the winelands appreciate it's beauty and would love to see the region receive a boost in international and local visitors alike.
Most of the major attractions are on the list however there are also many which I can think of not on the list but which definitely deserve to be.
Which attractions would you liked to have seen on the list?
