Stir it up this season with an Amarula Martini

Keep it sophisticated but simple this festive season with an elegantly smart cocktail that’s effortless and easy to make.  Appealing, lip-smacking and witty, it looks great and tastes even better.

Shake it up first and then stir in a twist of lemon zest for that je ne sais quoi.

Amarula Martini

Ingredients

30 ml Amarula

15 ml Gordon’s London Dry Gin

1.5  ml bitters

Lemon zest

Ice cubes

Method:

Add the Amarula, gin and bitters to a cocktail shaker, blender or sealed container and insert a few ice cubes. Mix well, pour into a martini glass and garnish with a twist of lemon zest. To cool the glass ahead of time, fill with ice cubes and remove before pouring in the cocktail mixture.

Serves one.
