Obikwa has shown once again that it has what it takes to produce wines of quality that are enjoyable, eco-friendly and affordable, by winning yet another Best Value Award in the 2012 Best Value Wine Guide for wines priced under R60 a bottle.

The latest winner in the Best Value stakes is Obikwa Sauvignon Blanc 2011 for its exceptional value in terms of quality versus price at around R27 per bottle. This Best Value Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect summer wine and a must to take along to your next fish-braai with its crisp tropical fruit flavours, gooseberries and hints of green fig.

The Obikwa ostrich has been rather busy in the world of Best Value awards over the past two years boasting accolades from numerous local and international wine competitions for its Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage and Chardonnay.

In addition to offering great value for money, Obikwa is also known as a trail blazer for eco-friendly wines as the first South African wine to switch to ultra light weight 350g Consol glass bottles in a concerted effort to minimise its carbon footprint and reduce its impact on the environment.

Obikwa is a down-to-earth range of easy drinking, quality cultivar wines expressing their true varietal character at an affordable price.
